Mr. Kennedy has over 40 years of business experience, primarily in the Technology, and Finance sectors and has held several CEO and CFO positions within both Public and Private Companies,. He has a proven track record of successfully launching early stage Companies, managing growth situations, raising capital in both the private and public marketplace, structuring and taking Companies public and participating in merger and acquisition transactions.

His experience spans areas of General Management, Business Planning, Accounting and Financial Reporting, Cash Flow Management and Treasury Functions, Business Development, Intellectual Property and Licensing, Mergers and Acquisitions, International Taxation and Board of Director positions.

 

He has held senior management positions with Epson and Itochu from Japan, Hyundai Electronics from Korea and has received investment from Sumitomo Corporation (Japan) while he was CEO for a University of Toronto spin off and licensed technology to Tohuko Pioneer, Hyundai, and Samsung.

Most notably, he was a Board member and President and CEO of Luxell Technologies, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, where under his leadership, they raised over $45 million in Capital and grew the Company from a $.25 share value to over $10.00 in a three year span.

Currently, Mr Kennedy is a Partner at CS9 Corp., a financial advisory services Company. CS9 Corp., controls a Merchant Bank that incubates, advises and assists taking Companies public on the Canadian Stock Exchange (CSE). He is responsible for providing the Corporate Finance activities of CS9 Corp, the Merchant Bank and CS9 Clients.

He sits on the Board of Fort Laundry, one of the management buy out companies he negotiated and financed. The Company is engaged in hospitality services for the Oil Sands in Fort McMurray, Alberta Canada. Their clients include, Compass, Suncor, Canadian Natural Resources, SNC Lavalin and Coneco Phillips.

His personal investment projects include real estate development in Florida, USA. and Duggans Brewery in Toronto Canada.

Mr. Kennedy obtained his Chartered Accountant designation while auditing at Deloitte and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University located in Toronto Canada.
